hls proud to announce they have been appointed to the Solicitors panel for CHIC

CHIC are a consortium of 40 social housing providers who manage 250,000 homes across England and Wales.

The Consortium has appointed 17 law firms to a legal services framework worth an estimated £70m over four years.  it is the first time that CHIC (the Central Housing Investment Consortium) has set up a framework for its members.

Helen Edwards, director at Kennedy Cater, the legal procurement experts who have procured the framework said “We will work with CHIC to roll out these benefits to all of its members … its so easy to continue returning to the same professional service but being stuck in a rut is not good practice…  its much more effective to have a catalogue of trusted lawyers at your disposal…. it will  make [your internal team] more efficient..”

Tim runs workshop in which he looks in depth at the new Absolute Ground for Possession

Lively and interactive discussions with delegates during the session centred on the preparatory work, and also delegates learnt that what constitutes a ‘serious offence’ is quite wide ranging.  Consideration of the case law led to useful and informative discussions around the all important review process.

One delegate said “A very interesting, relevant and useful session … interactive throughout”.

If you are interested in booking a similar workshop for your team, please contact info@housinglawservices.co.uk., and we will be pleased to discuss this with you.
