CIH South East Regional Practitioner’s Conference

We are delighted to announce that, once again, housing law services is sponsoring this year’s CIH South East Regional Practitioner’s Conference.

The event is being held across two days at the Mercure Hotel on Brighton seafront. Students take up work experience opportunities

During June, July and August 2014, housing law services have a number of year 10 and year 11 students doing work experience. Each student is with the firm for one week and shadows a member of the team, attending court and undertaking straightforward administrative tasks. Lexcel and Investors in People

Between 15-17 July 2014, housing law services was assessed for Lexcel and Investors in People (IiP). Tim Crook, Managing Partner, is delighted to announce the firm retained its Gold standard of IiP and Version 5 of Lexcel. “This is a fantastic achievement for housing law services. Not only where we one of the first firms in the sector to be awarded the Gold standard, but we have gone on to retain that highest standard. It is a huge compliment to the commitment and dedication of the entire team.”

housing law services attends Hastings Academy careers fair

On 11 July 2014, Glenda Nichols went to Hastings Academy to speak to the students about a career in law. Glenda met with year 10 and year 11 pupils and explained the various ways of entering the legal profession. The event organisers, ‘My Future Starts Here’ (‘MFSH’), said the students really appreciated the attention and encouragement the firm gave them. Carrie Normoyle of MFSH said housing law services is: “a joy to work with.”
