Tenancy Deposits: Superstrike

The Court of Appeal has found thaht a landlord must protect a deposit that was paid prior to the Deposit protection requirements coming into force (6 April 2007) if the statutory periodic tenancy that arises on expiry of the initial fixed term came into effect after 6 April 2007.
