Training
We have developed a comprehensive training programme that has been rolled out to a number of landlords and
which can be adapted to meet the particular needs of any client.
We aim to keep our clients up to date with the latest legislation, inform them of best practice and provide benefits driven training in order that they can become more effective in their roles generating better value for money.
Training can be delivered to small groups, in-house at the client’s premises if required and always targeted to areas highlighted by the client. Clients often tell us that most training provision in the housing law sector is too generalised to be of real use – perhaps one of the reasons why our bespoke training provision has received such enthusiastic feedback. We have carried out training in areas such as:
- Disability Discrimination
- Mental Health
- Harassment
- Court Skills
- Tenancy Succession
- Notices and Drafting of Notices
- Anti Social Behaviour
- Disrepair
- Human Rights
Conferences
Annual conferences are organised by housing law services to which clients and other agencies are invited. These provide a forum for guest speakers as well as those from our own firm, and give delegates an opportunity to network with others from the social housing sector. For information on the next conference, please contact info@housinglawservices.co.uk
Fact Sheets
Our Fact Sheets consist of bulletins that update clients on changes in legislation, new policy introduction, case studies and recent case law. A selection of these are available to download from the site on our news page.
